When we refer to “personal information” in this privacy statement, we mean information that you provide to us about yourself. For example, your name, email address, and phone number. You do this completely voluntarily.
1. Purpose of processing and storing personal data
We will only use your personal data to inform and contact you for the purpose for which you filled out the contact form. We adapt the composition of the requested personal data to the form in such a way that we do not request and/or store any information that is not relevant to the purpose for which you are providing your personal data. Providing personal data is by definition completely voluntary. We distinguish 5 types of personal data that we process on this website:
– Request for information: By far the majority of forms on the website are intended to inform you about a specific (fitness) program, prices, offer or a specific question you have asked. Each form describes what you will receive information about. The requested information is limited to name, email and phone number so that we can contact you for the requested information.
– Membership Advice: Want to know which membership or program is best for you? In this case, we need a little more information than your name, email, and phone number. We ask you to voluntarily answer a number of questions regarding your goals, desires, and expectations regarding membership. Your contact information, combined with these answers, will only be used to inform and advise you on the most suitable membership for you.
– Getting to know each other: a request for information and advice on membership may be followed by an invitation for an (online) appointment. If you choose to do so (which is voluntary!), your personal data will be used to confirm the selected appointment by email/phone/sms.
– Newsletters: You may be asked to subscribe to a newsletter. This is always done with a mandatory double opt-in. After signing up, you will occasionally receive an email newsletter providing you with services and general information about Bodifit.
– Registration form: We may also use a registration form, in which we request more personal information in addition to your name, email and telephone number. The registration form allows you to become a digital member/customer of Bodifit and complies with all applicable laws. After registration, we will contact you by phone. You always have the right to cancel your registration within the legally prescribed cooling-off period.
Upon receipt, we will then contact you via email, SMS and/or phone to provide you with the requested information.
2. Duration of storage of personal data
Personal data will not be stored for longer than is strictly necessary. For all normal contact forms (purposes 1, 2 and 3 as described above), the data will be deleted 12 months after they were transmitted. We are therefore confident that there was sufficient opportunity to inform you of what you have left your personal data for. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we will store your data as long as you are subscribed to it. You can actively unsubscribe at any time using the link in the newsletter. In the case of online registration to become a customer/member of our company, we store your personal data for the duration of the membership in order to be able to fulfill the contract. Even if your data is removed from the information and/or newsletter database.
3. Security
Your personal information is secure. Confidential information is protected by technical and administrative security measures to reduce the risk of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, and alteration. These include firewalls, data encryption, secure connections, and physical and administrative access controls to data and servers.
4. Transfer of personal data to third parties
In order to provide access to the requested information, Bodifit cooperates with third parties. These include the website administrator, the host, the automatic telephone connection, the newsletter system and the administration software. An important partner is www.YourFitStart.com, part of the marketing agency Hidden Profits Marketing. This website ensures that we as a company can contact you as a consumer and thus process/have access to your data. A so-called processor agreement has been concluded with all parties involved. This agreement ensures the security and timely deletion of your personal data.
5. Right to access, rectify, cancel or delete personal data
We would like to draw your attention to the possibility of accessing, rectifying, cancelling and/or deleting the personal data we have stored about you from our database. To do this, please send an email to info@bodifit.net.
